The manufacturing process of Nambu ironware

We make our products using the natural material, iron, obtained from nature.
Once you've finished using it, it returns to nature.
And so Nambu tekki has survived as a daily craft for 400 years.

The more it is used, the more texture it develops. The taste changes depending on the user. Nambu tekki is a product that reflects the lifestyle of the person who uses it. It takes about 65 steps to make an iron kettle, most of which are done by hand. It takes at least 15 years to become a full-fledged craftsman. You can't make good products without the feeling that there is always a customer who will use your work. Our predecessors always thought about how to make it easier to use, thought it through, faced the iron, innovated, and honed their skills. The "shape" and "usability" that have remained since 400 years ago have been accepted and passed down to the present day. That's what tradition is all about.
