FAQ
A. First, check that the main unit is not damaged or dented, and that the handle is sturdy. If you use the product without any defects, it may cause accidents such as burns.
A. At first, rinse the iron kettle lightly, then fill it with water until the 8th minute mark, bring it to a boil, then discard the hot water, repeating this process 2-3 times. The water may become cloudy due to metal qi, so please repeat this until the water becomes clear. The basic rule is to use medium heat. High heat may damage the main unit, and low heat may cause the water to become cloudy. Also, if you splash water on the main unit while it is hot, it may crack.
A. Rubbing the surface too hard may cause the color to fade, so please wipe it dry after use. Be sure to wipe away moisture from small areas such as the spout and handle of the vine. Also, if oil stains form on the surface, they will be difficult to remove, so please avoid placing them near stoves, etc.
A. Do not use a metal spatula as it may cause the paint film to peel off. Please limit the amount of oil in the deep fryer to about 1/3, and do not heat it above 200 degrees. It is also dangerous to cover the lid and raise the temperature rapidly. Before using an iron pot, stir-fry vegetable scraps etc. to coat it with oil, and after use, wash it with hot water and let it dry to remove moisture. Washing with detergent will remove the oil film, so do not use it unless there is a strong odor.
A. Do not forcefully scrub away stubborn dirt by soaking it in hot water. Also, if you frequently make miso soup with a lot of salt, the inner coating may peel off, but if it does come off, there is no problem if you apply oil and use it. If you are concerned about it, we can refinish (burn) it for a fee.
A. Rust is not harmful and you can use it as is if it does not become cloudy after boiling hot water. If it becomes cloudy, add Sencha and let it boil for about 30 minutes, repeating this process 3 to 4 times to prevent rust from progressing. Never rub the inside with a scrubbing brush as this will remove the oxide film and worsen the rust. When storing it, please store it in a place with low humidity.
A. The iron kettles and iron pots that can be used have the "IH notation" on them. For iron kettles, 7-inch Arale and 18-inch flat round Arale types can be used. Due to the characteristics of IH cooking heaters, if the base area of ironware is less than 12 cm, it may be difficult to heat up or it will take a long time to heat up. If you pay attention to the above points, you will be able to cook much more efficiently with ironware that uses magnetic force than with other metals (aluminum, stainless steel). However, please refrain from cooking fried foods such as tempura and fries, as the oil temperature may rise and pose a risk of fire.
