It was designed by the French design firm Les Sismo and made using Iwachu's techniques, which have been cultivated over 117 years since the company was founded.
The design of the bottom is inspired by a trivet, expressing the traditional Japanese style of boiling water on a trivet.
This lid is made by PILLIVUYT, a French company founded in 1818. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious porcelain brands, having been manufactured for about 200 years.
