This is the season of high temperatures.
We are all tempted to reach for a cold beverage.
In this convenient world, there are many delicious drinks in plastic bottles.
I also buy cold tea at convenience stores and vending machines.
Even so, I make hot tea and drink it in the morning and at night. Of course, I use a "kyusu" (a Japanese teapot).
The time I spend steeping the water after pouring it into the teapot is a luxury.
The type of tea depends on my mood at the time.
Green tea, of course, but also bancha, hojicha, black tea, and more.
The aroma of tea leaves often soothes me.
When I open the lid of the tea canister in which the tea leaves are stored, I feel a warm feeling in my heart.

Nambu tekki teapots retain heat, so the temperature of the water does not drop rapidly.
Why not blow off the fatigue of the day over a cup of tea?
